Checklists

With checklists you safeguard recurring tasks in the practice. You sign off what has been done. This makes it visible to the whole team that a check has genuinely been carried out.

Where do you find this?

Open Checklists in the left-hand menu. Above the overview, four status tabs let you choose which lists you see: All, Pending, Due and Completed.

Two types

  • General checklists — for the practice or a workstation, such as starting up a treatment room.
  • Personal checklists — assigned to one employee.

Assignment and duration

Every checklist has a Start Date and a completion window: when you set one up you answer "Within what time frame should this checklist be completed?", in days. You do not set a separate expiry date. You assign a list, so it's clear who signs it off. The status tab a list sits under tells you at a glance where it stands. If the window passes without sign-off the list does not disappear: it moves to Due and stays in the overview.

Is a checklist about to expire? Then a Smart Alert appears on the dashboard. This way a check doesn't get forgotten.

Filtering by workstation or location

In the overview, you filter checklists by workstation (for example Behandelkamer 1 or Balie) and by location — useful for practices with multiple locations or many treatment rooms. You can also narrow the view to only general checklists or only your own personal ones, and clear any filters you've set to see the full list again.

Opening a checklist from your schedule

You can also get there straight from the schedule: at a workstation, click View Checklists to open the checklist(s) for that workstation, instead of searching for them separately. See Scheduling.

Examples from practice

  • Starting up a treatment room at the start of the day.
  • Closing a treatment room at the end of the day.
  • Opening and closing checks at the front desk.
