Who is DentallManager for?

DentallManager is built for the entire team of a dental practice. Everyone works in the same environment, but with their own role and their own permissions. Below you can read what the software means for each role.

Practice owner​

As an owner, you want control over practice operations without having to chase everything yourself. DentallManager gives you one overview of your team, schedules, equipment, quality and safety. Reports are included as standard, for example on absence and the Time Tracker. The software was developed for dentists, by dentists.

Practice manager​

The practice manager works the most in DentallManager. You manage the settings, users and schedules. You approve leave and overtime requests, often directly from a Smart Alert. Contract management (Easy Contracts), announcements and to-dos for the team are also part of your role.

Dentist​

For the dentist, DentallManager is mainly a reference and organisation tool. You view your schedule in the app, consult protocols and use the Mediatheek (Gallery) with clinical photos and videos. Note: in DentallManager, dentist is a position, not a separate access role.

Assistant and team​

Team members see their own schedule directly in the app. You request leave, report sick or submit overtime via Quick Actions. You also fill in checklists (Checklists), follow learning modules in the learning environment, and take exams.

Position is not the same as access role​

Your position (for example dentist, dental hygienist or assistant) is separate from your access role. The position describes your work. The access role determines what you see and can do in DentallManager. Read more about this at Roles and permissions.

Independent practice or multiple locations​

DentallManager works for an independent practice as well as for organisations with multiple locations. You set up locations yourself. You view schedules per location, and you can assign access roles per location.
