How does DentallManager fit into your practice?
The first question almost everyone asks: "Does DentallManager replace our PMS, our current system?"
The answer is no — and that's deliberate. DentallManager does not replace your patient administration. It works alongside it.
Two layers in your practice
Every dental practice runs on two kinds of processes:
- Patient administration — records, agenda, treatments, billing. You do this in your PMS, such as Exquise, Oase or Simplex.
- Practice operations — your team, schedules, leave, equipment, protocols, incidents and compliance. Today this often happens in separate lists, folders, WhatsApp and Excel.
DentallManager brings that second layer together in one system.

DentallManager does offer supporting information material for your patients — such as treatment videos and ready-to-use letter templates in the knowledge base. Sending appointments and messages to patients continues to run through your PMS.
No migration of patient data
Because DentallManager doesn't touch your patient records, there is no need to transfer or migrate patient data. Your PMS simply keeps running as it does. You start DentallManager alongside it, with your team and your practice processes.
How they work together in a day
In the morning, your assistant opens Behandelkamer 1 (Treatment Room 1) and signs off the opening checklist in DentallManager. That day's patient agenda is in your PMS. If the treatment unit breaks down, she reports the malfunction with one click in DentallManager, while the patient schedule is adjusted in the PMS. At the end of the day, the team fills in the daily evaluation.
