Exams and knowledge tests

With exams you test knowledge within your team. This page shows how exams work in DentallManager.

What do you see for an exam?

Each exam shows a title, the points you can achieve, a deadline, a time limit for completing the exam once you start it, the date you participated, the duration in minutes, your result and a status. Scheduled and completed exams are listed together, so you get an at-a-glance view of whether an exam is still open or has been completed.

My exams and Review Exams

Open Exams in the left-hand menu. Under My exams you see your own exams and their status. As practice manager, you assess the team's results via Review Exams.

Creating a new exam

You set up new exams via a workflow, under Settings → Customization & Automation → Automations - Workflows. This lets you, for example, automatically link an exam to a learning module.

Exams connect to the learning environment: a training is often followed by an exam to test the knowledge.

Exams and the KRT

Some dentists track their continuing education in the KRT (Kwaliteitsregister Tandartsen, Quality Register for Dental Professionals). Exams and results from DentallManager can serve as supporting evidence for this, but they don't replace your own KRT portfolio. For the current registration requirements, consult tandartsregister.nl.

DentallManager supports you in organising quality and compliance, but this is not legal advice. For the current requirements, consult the official sources (including KNMT, IGJ and the Dutch Data Protection Authority) or an adviser.

How to take an exam

Open Exams, choose your exam under My exams, and click START before the deadline passes. From that moment the time limit for completing the exam is running. What you see on screen during the exam itself is not documented here yet — that screen has not been captured. Afterwards, you'll see your result and status reflected in the overview, along with the date you participated and how long you took.
