Features in Equipment Management

This page is a reference. Here you'll find the fields, ticket types and KPIs of the Equipment Management module (Apparatuurbeheer).

Fields in the asset register

FieldExplanation
NameName of the device
CategoryType of equipment
ModelModel designation
Serial numberUnique number of the device
StatusIn Use, Under Maintenance/Repair, Faulty/Defective or Not In Use

Four ticket types

A ticket requires the action, the equipment and the problem description. A priority is optional. The status shows what needs attention.

Ticket KPIs

At the top of the ticket overview you see: open tickets, tickets in progress, resolved today, and the average resolution time.

Machinery Reports

Under Machinery Reports you'll find reports on the status and reports of your equipment.

Filtering per workstation

Filter the overview per workstation, for example Treatment Room 1, to see only relevant equipment and tickets. Useful when you have multiple locations or treatment rooms.

X-ray equipment and CBCT

Additional requirements from the Kernenergiewet (Dutch Nuclear Energy Act) apply to X-ray equipment and CBCT. The ANVS supervises this together with other regulators and inspects on a risk basis — there is no fixed cadence. A practice must have at least one employee trained as a toezichthoudend medewerker stralingsbescherming (TMS); in addition, a practice may hire a stralingsbeschermingsdeskundige (SBD). Schedule the checks and maintenance that apply to your equipment as maintenance in DentallManager, so you automatically get a reminder. Exactly which requirements apply differs per practice and device — consult the official sources (ANVS) or your advisor.

DentallManager supports you in organising quality and compliance, but this is not legal advice. For the current requirements, consult the official sources (including KNMT, IGJ and the Dutch Data Protection Authority) or an adviser.
